What is Xylazine?

We are the first laboratory to offer xylazine testing in hair and nail specimens. Helping our clients stay on top of the ever-changing landscape of substance use. Xylazine is a sedative approved for veterinary medicine but not approved for human consumption. It has been found as an adulterant, being added to street drugs like fentanyl and heroin. Unfortunately, medications like Narcan do not reverse the effects of xylazine.

What is Psilocin?

We are adding psilocin testing to hair and nail specimens. Psilocin is the active metabolite of psilocybin and an alkaloid found naturally in certain types of psychedelic mushrooms.

What are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are several structural classes of compounds found in the cannabis plant, primarily in most animal organisms or as synthetic compounds. The following parent/native cannabinoids were updated:

  • ∆8-THC
  • ∆9-THC
  • ∆10-THC
  • Cannabidiol (CBD)

The presence of any of these cannabinoids in hair or nails is evidence of environmental exposure to the specific cannabinoid detected and does not infer ingestion of the cannabinoid.
