Announcing Fentanyl Lower Cutoff Levels

We know you use our testing because you value speed and innovation. Today we are pleased to bring you yet another industry-leading announcement. We are excited to inform you that we have succeeded in improving our umbilical cord tissue testing for fentanyl by reducing the screening and confirmation assay cutoffs from 500 pg/g (0.5 ng/g) down to 200 pg/g (0.2 ng/g).
This lower cutoff will now allow us to identify a greater number of newborns exposed to fentanyl in utero.
The improved umbilical cord assay for fentanyl will be available starting December 06, 2021.
