Intervention Programs

Drug and alcohol testing is a key component of any substance abuse monitoring program. Urine testing is the current gold standard, with some programs testing hair and oral fluid. Utilizing alternate matrices increases the likelihood of identifying illicit drug or alcohol use. USDTL currently offers drug test methods in hair, nails, blood, urine and oral fluid. Broad test panels are available in most sample matrices, and each matrix offers a unique window of detection. OralStatSM provides a window of 12 hours to 48 hours of drug history. HairStatSM and NailStatSM have an expected broad window of exposure. UrineStatSM is best used for random drug testing with a detection window of one day to five days after drug use. PEthStatSM is an alcohol biomarker with a detection window of over three weeks.
