HairStat
HairStat®

Hair specimens, unlike urine samples, yield information about drug exposure time frames measured in months, rather than days. A 1.5 inch specimen of head hair represents approximately three months of hair growth, and therefore, up to three months of collective history of drug exposure. NailStatSM also offers similar advantages of hair testing but provides a detection window of up to eight months after the last usage. Urine, on the other hand, for a drug like cocaine, can only yield about three days of prior drug exposure history. HairStat® is available as a 5-, 7-, 9-, 12- and 14-drug panel. Ketamine is available as an add-on to any profile.
ChildGuardSM is a modified hair drug test designed to identify environmental exposure in children. The assay is often used by social service agencies involved in custody cases.
