Douglas Lewis has over twenty years experience in developing, directing and managing
state of the art toxicology laboratories. He is recognized as an expert in athletic drug
testing and cocaine babies testing.

Charles A. Plate, Ph.D.
Charles A. Plate, Ph.D. is a highly respected scientist with over 19 years of experience
developing immunodiagnostic assays. For the 4 and ‡ years prior to joining USDTL, he
directed the Avitar, Inc. research and development immunodiagnostics laboratory where
he established a GMP production facility for preparation of anti-drug antibody-gold sol
conjugates; developed and optimized a lateral flow, self-performing 4 panel drugs of
abuse test for saliva; supervised the validation of oral fluid drug extraction procedures
and the gas chromatographic/mass spectrophotometric detection methodology for amphetamines,
cannabinoids, cocaine and metabolites, and opiates and directed the analysis of paired
urine/saliva specimens for clinical trials of the on-site drugs of abuse saliva test.

Joseph T Jones
Joseph Jones has over fifteen years experience in the forensic drug testing industry serving
in a variety of positions throughout the laboratory. Joseph has served as an Expert Witness
in forensic drug analysis in a variety of venues such as unemployment hearings, union
arbitration, family court and capital murder litigation.
