Veronica Lewis, MS, MT (ASCP) SBB, founding member, CEO, and majority owner of USDTL, is an educator with over 20 years experience as an Assistant Professor at UIC. Veronica leads USDTL Educate efforts to provide certification and training to USDTL Employees and CMEs to USDTL Clients. After 40 years in the clinical laboratory field, Veronica received the Chang Ling Lee Award for her contribution to education, patient care, and research in transfusion medicine from the Illinois Association of Blood Banks. Prior to working full time at USDTL, Veronica taught both undergraduate medical laboratory science students and graduate SBB/MS students. In 2007, Veronica successfully transferred the Specialist in Blood Bank program from UIC to Rush University.
